Perry was born in Santa Barbara, California. The middle child of two pastors, she grew up listening to gospel music and singing in church. Now, a more modern day singer, she doesn't sing like anyother. It surely isn't gospel. Have you heard her song "I Kissed a Girl?" She liked it, that's for sure. Although most people say it's a weird song, you can't help but sing along when it comes on the radio.
