Want a simple, cool christmas tree ornament? Well first of all, you need 8.5x11 in. white paper, (silver) paper clip, tape, sizers, brown marker, hot glue gun. Also pick one of these: cotton balls, green spray paint or Green, and Red marker. You can also have glitter, or add other things you think would be good.

Open up your image. The one on the left side is me.

Ok, now fold your paper hot dog style in half, then cut along the creased line. After, fold one half hot dog style. Do not cut the creased line.
Now it gets harder. Hold the 2 corners of the paper, the corners from the hot dog style way. The example is on the left. Now, hold the 2 sides together. Make sure you pointer finger is in the circle of the paper. Slide your thumb left, until the triangle space is about 1.4 inches apart. Make sure the top of the cone-shape is closed. Tape it together.
Now, fold the triangle part inside the cone, until the bottom part is nearly flat. Unfold that part and cut the creased part. now, you should have a basic cone shaped object :)
Now, get the second piece of half, folded paper, and roll it around your finger. tape it when you are done. Now you have a cone and a tube.
Still going :o. So now, get your paper clip and unfold the loop thingys and leave one side of it. Now with this side, twist it so it has a loop at the end. After, stick the straight part from under the cone till it pokes out the top. curve the top of the paperclip, so it doesnt move. Now stick the tube into the cones bottom. Hot glue it to fasten it. After, cut the tube to the size you want it to be.
Now if you wanted to color it, color it the way you want. If you want to have cotton on it, glue the cotton balls to the tree side, not the bark or w/e. then Spray paint it green when the glue is dry. After, color the bark brown. I used glitter pompoms for my tree. My final result is on the left.
