Open up your paint program and zoom in to the 8x setting. Using the pencil tool, draw the outline of your pixel in the colors you want.

Now clean up the lines, erasing thick parts and shaping it up until you're happy
Now it is time to add some interest. You can choose to shade it by using a lighter shad of the outline, or fill it in with a lighter shade and make a white inside border.
Now your done! Wasn't that easy?? Zoom out and this is how it should look like:
