With this tutorial, you will learn how to create a very simple advanced image, teaching you one of the many effects you can create with the color purple.
To start, paste the image on the left into your photoshop. This will be the image we'll be working with for this tutorial.
After you've pasted your image in, start by creating a new raster layer. Fill that layer with the color #490073, a dark purple. Then, set that layer to Lighten at 100%. To see the result so far, view the image on the left
Now, create a new raster layer . Fill that layer with #450085, a dark indigo-like color. Next, set that layer to soft light at 100%. View left for result.
After that, create a new raster layer. Fill this one with #ffb4c9, a soft pink. This should lighten the image a bit, and give it a slight pink tint. See the image on the left for your result.
You're pretty much done. However, this image is quite simple, so i used a dot brush to outline America, as well as added text. You can go further with the effects. This tutorial was to help you with the basics of advancing an image. View the left to see what i ended up with.
