Make a new Layer [File >> New] Size 200x200. For my foreground color I have selected ff098a and for my background color I selected ffffff. Select any kind of shape brush. I have selected a leaf one.

Now, click on [Window >> Brushes] Make sure that you have the following checked: Shape Dynamics, Scaterring, Color Dynamics, Other Dynamics and Smoothing.

On your white layer, click it using the leaf brush. It should turn out like the preview on the side.

Click it again, and it should look like this one.

Now, if you want to control the amount of brushes that show up when you click once, go back to the brush setts on step 1. One the Scattering settions that you checked make sure the count number is set to 1 if you want one brush at a time, etc.

The Color Dynamic settings chooses colors that match with the one you selected as the foreground.

Here is an example of where I have used this technique.
