Open up any image that needs to be restored or a that has a shape, object that you wish to remove, etc. I chose the one on the left.
Select the clone stamp tool
. I set the clone settings to the ones on the left. You may have to use a smaller/bigger brush depending on the image you are working with. Hover over the area you wish to restore, clone, or remove. Hold down "Alt" and while holding it down, click on the area you're working with. Now release the alt and release the click. The section that you clicked on has now been cloned and is waiting to be placed somewhere. Begin clicking on the area you you want correct.
My final results are displayed on the right side.
If you want to go even further with the restoration process go to [Image >> Adjustments >> Brightness/contrast.] I used the following settings: Brightness: -9 and Contrast +4. Then go to [Image >> Adjustments >> Curves.] Input set to 130 and output: 110.
