Open up your image. Make sure the layer is not locked. (Has a lock on the right side of image, if it does, double click on the layer to remove it).

On the layers palette, click on "create new fill and adjustment layer" button and select hue/saturation. Click on this button and go to your image and click on the car color. Any "red" part. Once you click on it, the options under Hue/saturation will be changed. You'll see on the draop down "Reds". Move the Hue slider to any color and the car color will change. If the color is too intense (bright) move the "saturation" slider to the left or right. The left makes it less intense. Here are just some examples of the colors i picked.
