If you downloaded a pattern with an other extension other than .pat. This tutorial is for you. Open the pattern. [File >> Open] Look for it inside the folder you saved it to. Now, click on [Edit >> Define Pattern] Name the pattern and click ok.

To use the pattern, on your layers palatte, click on the tiny icon that looks like this and select pattern. A new window called Pattern Fill should pop up. On the litte screen preview you see there, click the little arrow pointing down so you can see/use the pattern on your current layer.

If you did everything correctly, it should appear like the preview on the side. All of the patterns you see there are from Saruna. If you want to view more, Click Here!
