Everytime I browse sites, I notice that some of them do not know how to resize an image well. This also applies for PSDs. Here is a good way to resize them.

Open up the image or PSD.

Then go to, [Image >> Image Size]. For the Dimension settings, make sure you have pixels. Change the width to any number below what it currently says. Mine says width: 153. I'll change it to 100 and then click Ok.
You might notice that the image is a little blurry. Go to [Filter >> Sharpen >> Sharpen].
