With this tutorial, you will learn how to create a simple scribble using adobe photoshop. You could also mimic this on paint, but you wont have layers to make it easier.
First, open up a blank document, mine is 145x139, however the size you make yours is your choice. One of the most important things to do when you scribble is to zoom in. This helps you create a neater image. Once you've zoomed in, create an outline of what you would like to make, for this tutorial, we'll be making a simple leaf, look to the image on the left.
After you've finished your outline, create a new layer and drag it under the outline layer. This will be your shading layer. For this scribble, we'll be using a shading method that gets lighter to darker gradually. For color reference, check out the image to the left.
To begin shading, pick a lighter green, and fill in a small section of the leaf. Then, change the color, making it a little darker, and again fill in a small section. Keep gradually getting darker, until you fill up both leaves. Tadah, a new shading method ! It should like something like the image on the left :).
Now its time to decorate your image, by adding a backdrop and other small details. You don't have to do this step, but it helps "spruce" up your image a bit. For mine, i added a backdrop, and some sparkles. Notice how i used the same shading method on the clouds as well as the leaf. Its best to stick to one method per image because it neatens the image, and it looks more organized.
