Vintage Outlines/Shade-ins

This tutorial is written by: Liz
Open up the image/layer where you wish to practice this tutorial on. I used the image on the left, which is a part of a layout I made (this current or past layout, depending on the time you view this tutorial).
Now, find a brush that is not filled in (only has an outline). I chose a brush set outline from Saruna which you can download here: Adobe Users & Imagepacks. Once you have your brush, make a new layer by clicking
or by going [Layer >> New Layer >> Ok.] Place the brush where you want it to be.
Make another new layer and this time set it to Linear Burn. Select any color you want. I chose the hex color: fec46b. Once you're done selecting your color, go to your brushes and select a circle brush. I chose a circled brush size 9. Start shading in the brush. It doesn't necessarily have to be a perfect shade-in. It actually looks better if you shade it in a messy kind of way.
