This tutorial is also written on the adobe tutorial section, so if you get lost half way, I would suggest you read both.

Open up your image. The one on the left side is me.

On your scripts toolbar, if you can't seem to find it, go to [View >> Toolbars >>Script] Click on the cirle icon: . It will now being recording all of the steps you make. Yes, all of your layers will be recorded. Once you have an icon made, and you're satisfied, click on the disk icon: . Save your script. I named mine Liz.

The side icon is my icon with the effects I added. All the effects I did from the top step to this one, have now been saved.

It's very important that you test out your script! Get a new image. I'm using the one on the left, again, it's me.
On the drop down menu, make sure you select the script you just saved. I'll be looking for the script called "Liz." Once you find it, click on the run selected script.
