Open up your image. Once you are done with that click on
or go to [File>> Export>> Image Mapper]
These two tools
are the main tools you will use to select the areas you want to image map. The first button allows you to select the area freely and the second one in a square or rectangular shape.
The tool you use depends on the shape you want to use so either one will do.
Once you select the image map parts, each one should look something similar to my settings. In the URL part you put the url of the page you want it to be linked to.
The ALT text is just what you want to be displayed once people place the mouse over the image.
The target has to be the same name that you have on the link targets. For example, if my links code looks like this
the target should be _top. If you do not use any targets, then leave it blank.
Once you are done with that, click on this icon
A internet page should appear with the image you want to be image mapped. Now just simply right click somewhere that's blank around the image and click on view source. Cut the code and paste it on your site. Now, you're done! :)
